Jerisa is an accomplished Biologist and Laboratory Manager with extensive expertise in marine ecology, environmental assessment, and laboratory operations. Currently with Nautica Environmental Associates LLC, she has established a strong track record in both field and lab-based work across the Middle East and Asia, leading marine baseline surveys, habitat monitoring, and environmental impact assessments. She is certified as a Marine Mammal Observer (MMO), Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) Operator, Phytoplankton Taxonomist, and Rescue Diver (PADI), and has supported a wide range of offshore and coastal development projects, including seismic surveys, dredging, and marine construction. She also serves as an Instructor for the AMSO course, contributing to regional training efforts. In the lab, she leads species identification, scientific reporting, and supports sustainability consulting, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and marine biodiversity conservation.
