As an Environmental Consultant, Merilyn's work primarily focuses on the marine environment, where she conducts a range of baseline surveys and monitoring studies. One of the unique perks of her work is encountering incredible marine wildlife, including dolphins, dugongs, and sea turtles.

In addition to being a marine scientist, Merilyn contributes to the development of regulatory documents such as Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs). She is also currently working toward becoming a certified ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, further strengthening her commitment to environmental management and continuous improvement.

In her free time, she likes run, climb, and spend relaxing evenings with her family and two cats.
